followers is a generative animation / 2-channel video installation that reframes abstracted aspects of socio-political behavior. In an ever-changing flow of movement, the animated bodies overreact, flock, flee, and follow. Simple algorithms create unexpectedly complex interrelationships between global form and individual behavior.
